I recently wrapped up a project with Balblair, a premium whisky brand with a brilliant heritage and a unique way of devising their whisky 'expressions'.
I was tasked with revamping their social media activity, particularly focussed on their copy across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
It's highly important for me to be able to quickly understand the nuances of any brand, as without that, an outside-source can easily create content that comes across as inauthentic.
I rapidly achieved this through a brand session and subsequent copy testing with the Balblair team.

I've worked on many a drinks brand in my time, but this had a huge pull - a brand new distillery on the majestic Isle of Harris, with an incredible story to tell and the products to match.

I held an initial consultation with senior members of the intelligentpos team, during which I gathered information on (among other things!), their plans for growth, the market, how they see the brand, their competitors, values and current marketing capabilities.

Ewan McCowen, Head of Marketing at Float approached me with a clear aim of helping the cashflow forecasting app to extend their digital marketing activity via social media advertising - an area I have a great passion for, so of course, I said "yes please Ewan!".
